Our story

Inspired by the past, crafted for the present.

At Atelier Maison Quatre, our journey begins with childhood memories and an iconic object: the mazagran. This traditional coffee cup, a symbol of conviviality and shared moments, has been reimagined to blend seamlessly into modern interiors.

The Genesis

"This photo of my sister and me was taken on a summer Sunday at my grandparents' home in Normandy. Like a ritual, at the end of every meal, my grandmother would bring out her floral mazagran set to serve coffee. At the time, I had no idea that these family moments would shape my vision of conviviality and design. This simple yet deeply meaningful tradition became the very essence of Atelier Maison Quatre."

Our Philosophy

Tradition & Modernity
We have reimagined the mazagran with a minimalist approach, preserving its original form while adapting it to contemporary trends. Our colors are inspired by the landscapes of Normandy and modern tones, transforming each cup into a unique decorative piece.

Craftsmanship & Quality
Each mazagran is handcrafted in Portugal using high-quality, recycled, and sustainable stoneware. We spent over a year researching and visiting workshops to ensure that every stage of production is done by hand, guaranteeing unmatched quality and authenticity.

At Atelier Maison Quatre, we see our mazagrans as more than just coffee cups—they are symbols of togetherness and shared moments. We hope that each use of our products serves as an invitation to celebrate the simple and precious moments of life, surrounded by friends and family.
