This is a highlight in the Atelier Maison Quatre adventure: our New Mazagran has been selected by M, the magazine of Le Monde in its article dedicated to objects that reinvent conviviality around coffee.
A return to favor for a forgotten form
Titled “The mazagran, for a good dose of conviviality,” the article marks the grand return of this tall, handleless cup , long associated with family meals or old-fashioned cafés. M celebrates this unique, functional, and warm piece, a welcome departure from the standardization of the mug.

Reinventing a classic, with a contemporary vision
At Atelier Maison Quatre, we have chosen to reinterpret mazagran in a contemporary version : clean lines, through-body colored stoneware, a palette of understated colours and European manufacturing.
The idea: to give this everyday object a real place in the world of the home. Not as a simple cup, but as a design object in its own right , produced in small series.
Coffee as a ritual
This feature in M resonates particularly with what has driven us from the beginning: the desire to slow down, to return to simple gestures, to value the moment of coffee . The mazagran embodies this: a different shape, a gentle grip, an object that invites savoring.
Recognition
Being featured by M, the magazine of Le Monde, is a significant achievement for a young brand like ours. It's recognition of the groundwork we've laid—the design, the choice of materials, the relationships with artisans—but also of our desire to offer something different. A fresh perspective on an object steeped in history.
